TOP 10- Real Techniques Brushes

I am a strong believer that no matter what make-up you use - £1 products to £100 products- they can look equally as good if applied with the correct brushes.

I am forever searching for good quality make-up brushes for an affordable price and nothing has been able to compete with the Real Techniques brushes by Sam and Nic Chapman.
These amazing high street brushes are a favourite among many youtubers, bloggers and just makeup lovers in general and i would recommend these to anyone looking for good quality brushes that can last for years if cared for properly. Real techniques sell a wide range of brushes in most makeup stores including boots and superdrug. They are all sold separately (each around the £10 mark) and are also sold in collections that contain all essential brushes (collections vary around £20)

described from left-right, starting at the top down to the bottom
Powder brush - So big that it could powder your whole face in one (if you have a pea head like me *haha*) the bristles are so soft and applies the perfect amount of powder to set your foundation without looking cakey.

Expert Face brush - The perfect brush to give a flawless complexion with your foundation. This brush is extremely dense and doesn't leave brush strokes on your face like some brushes can do.

Buffing brush - A great foundation brush that is so easy and can apply your foundation in seconds. This brush doesn't soak up too much product and is cleaned easily. This brush can also be used for bronzer or blush or anything really, all of the brushes are multi-use!

Contour brush - Just like the name implies this brush is the perfect brush to give the "Kim Kardashian" contoured look. It is perfectly pointed to fit into the hollows of your cheeks and blends the product flawlessly. I find this brush works better with cream products compared to powder as it blends easier - Bourjois Bronzing Primer is my favourite and works wonders with this brush

Pointed Foundation brush - This brush has multiple used and like all of the Real Techniques brushes they can be used for different things without having to wash in between. For a flawless extreme contoured look i like to use this brush to apply cream blusher as you can perfectly apply it in a way that sculpts your cheekbones even better than contouring does. I also like to use this brush for concealing under my eyes as the thinness and the angle fits perfectly under the eye. This brush is also good for powdering in specific places to set your foundation for a fuller coverage.

Detailer brush - Like many of the others i have used this brush in so many different ways. The first is eye shadow on the lower lash line due to the small size of the brush. Another use is eyebrows for an extremely detailed look as the smaller size means you can sculpt out the shape more without worrying about giving yourself large eyebrows that don't suit your face shape. It can also be perfect to conceal around the brows for a HD brow effect or even to conceal any blemishes and point concealing.

Deluxe Crease brush - This brush is the ultimate concealer brush to cover any spots or imperfections perfectly to the point of being invisible. The brush is so small and dense that it fits in small places like around the nose and under the eyes.

Base Shadow brush - Just like the name says this is an amazing brush for eyes and all parts of it. With this one brush you can cover the whole lid, darken the outer corner, contour the crease, highlight the brow bone and blend everything out without having to wash the brush. I have the smallest eyes and it allows me to create the perfect eye look in great detail without me looking like i have been punched in the face *haha*

Brow brush - I have found this brush to work well in two ways. One being the most obvious- eyebrows. This is the perfect size for everyones eyebrows and is shaped to create a natural brow look using preferably a brow powder. With this you can strongly define the brow or make it look natural depending on how you use it. the other way is winged eyeliner as it is the perfect angled shape. Using a brown or black powder this brush is perfect to create a more subtle eye liner look without fail.

Accent brush - I find this brush perfect to line out your lips with lipstick and to fill in your lips for a longer lasting more precise application to stop any bold lipsticks like red from bleeding out of the lips. This can also be used for gel eyeliner on the top and bottom lash line and also for eye shadow on the bottom lash line. If you are going for a flawless contoured face this small brush is also perfect to contour down the sides of your nose for a slimmer effect.

Try and count how many times i use the words 'brush' and perfectly', every second word perhaps? oops *haha*
hope you enjoyed and found this useful in some way
